During my travels this summer, I saw lots of jewelry that used recycled materials. One of the most versatile materials for this is paper. I've tried making paper beads in the past and failed miserably. I decided to give it another go, but this time making flat spirals. I am in love! Here is a sampling of what I've been working on.

| This simple pendant is made from old catalogue pages and super thick black wire. |

| This lovely is also from catalogue pages. I've sewn the pieces together with embroidery floss. To finish this piece, I'll attach it to a short chain. |

DeleteHello Miss Raychelle! I had to first let you know that I love your experiments with paper. They remind me of some projects I did when I was a child in Girl Scouts! I see a lot of paper beads these days and this is a fun way to incorporate things that might otherwise go to waste. I love the spirals and the way you embellished them. Nice job! Enjoy the day. Erin
